reflections

Inspired by Bakerstreets thoughtful and shortsighted, as usual, commentair on an old-whipping post...

Perhaps, in the US it is anti social, even illegal, to utter a cruel word about Israels behavoiur towards its neighbour as a so-called Democratic, although I'd question this claim,State. I don't know am not in the US but in NL. Israel's actions beg more than just " harsh words"or" advisory opinions" because so-far nothing is working. Tear it down, Mr Sharon.

I do not subscribe to any religious dogma, especially the religious fanatics who support their bloody causes no matter what their ideology is. Arab or Jew, murder is murder. Not keen on moralizing either. I am interested in justice and the rule of law, that seems to have been made a mockery of by Israels illegal landgrab. They could have built it on their own property as high as they liked!
Nor do I give any credance to which side my wing is on, for I have two not just one. My political compass points west, I guess. Polarizing people, by their races, political persuasions or... how they construct sentences or spell, only (further) diverts attention from the underlying issues of theft of land and ethnic cleansing by the IDF.

Conspiracist is another attention diverter used by fanatics to not look at the crimes committed in the middle east. IDF has to justify brutality and murder so the scapegoat is anyone who doesn't tow the line for the Jewish State: Israel.
Yanks, you tow the line and ring the bells for Sharon! Wise-up.

I believe in the power of people, their will, not God's, to change things. Corporations don't have human rights, humans do. I see the US supported abuse of power in Israel. Lies from Washington about "why" they invaded Iraq. I see pitiful Palestine getting stomped and bombed ritually after The Sabbath by the US sponsored IDF.Their homes, their fields and livliehoods and hope razed to the ground. Over and over as the IDF laughs.

That's not justice.

If this objection to senseless murder and oppression, occupation of Palestian territories makes me anti Jew, then so be it. It is not my intent to single out one race for all the blame here, that's too simple.

It'd be like blaming the Christian Fundamentals for the invasion of Iraq.

I am strongly against what the semites do, especially, to their Arab neighbors. Blowing one's self up, maming and killing further innocent victims, only adds more petrol to the blaze. It's barbaric behaviour on both sides.
I resent being ignorantly lumped by Mr. BakerStreet into a category that I don't acknowledge for myself. I am pro-peace, anti-murder, anti Zionist and all that they do, not the convenient scapegoat of the Zionist: "anti-semitic".

Back to the negotiating tables, "young men" and "you'd better say your sorry!"

*if States behave as children I see them as children and they both need to

get over it.

Relgion of most brands do not impress me very much. I was brought up in a pseudo Eastern-like religion that taught: God is Love and Mind over Matter. We did use doctors but hard-cores did not use conventional doctors or hospitals. The Jesus thing has some credibility to it, I mean he was a man and Mary did have other children, was no virgin...there is a blood-line link that is still protected but I don't believe he rose from the dead.
I am a cynic of charismatic-yahoo's from an early age, thanks to the highly entertaining Ernest Angry, TV Preacher Pioneer, who used to knock people over and shout, "Demons Get Out, Be Heeeeealed!" or Pat Robertson, the pervert who got on his knees and confessed to his sins on TV while asking for millions, which he got. He got. Or my favorite, Tammy Faye Baker and the God Amusement Park, her slutty way of dressing and dripping eye make-up, thanking The Lord for His Grace all the way to the bank, later prison for fraud. Religion is a market. A scam.

and these types are now in charge? of America? Telling you to support Israel because of The Rapture.

It just seems absurd but I guess if you're inside it_it's "normal" Invading Iraq has been just another side show of weirdos, only people are dying as a result._and there are still people still defending the actions of an elite lying- few, those priveleged few ,who pull the strings and make puppets dance at their will and command or our kids die in the desert.

I don't visit the US and won't submit to criminal treatment, fingerprinting, biometrics-not-for-me, thanks. Spent 26 years there and know the drill you work so hard to maintain. To you, there is no world outside US and if we are different from you then we are treated as "suspect".Hence fingerprinting foreigners.

I know there are average ordinary folks who are good, decent, honest and without healthcare, working for a non-living wage.I know The News is a frightening daily experience with many local, regional and national homicides, one-after-the-next. I know trade union is a four letter word.
See, I was "edumacated" there too. I know that most people don't care about politics, often they are sent to fight the wars. Their lives expendable, replacable.BR>

I was apathetic and misinformed, too, when I lived there, but I attributed that to The American Way: young newlywed, mother of three small children, and running constantly from one escape, to the next errand, to my part time job and back again to cook and clean for the family.

I've learned what the US really does and how she really operates. How rights are given to corprations above people. I know how the American people are being taken for one hell of a ride by their "leaders"
You are supported in your Bully Attitudes by your friends, family and co-workers, the TV, the corporate-owned media.

It's an amazing ride you're on and if you had listened to a voice from outside your world you may have seen it coming, but you didn't. So buckle-up tight, you're in for a wild-one that's only just starting.

I swear that some people on this site actually believe that it is illegal to express your opinion.
